The Rock & River Rooms

Our Rock and River classrooms offer dynamic environments where children thrive. Most of the day is spent in mixed-age groups, allowing younger and older students to learn side-by-side and develop at their own pace.

This mentorship culture is balanced with focused peer group time for age-appropriate projects. Depending on the day's discovery, children may move between the intimate Rock room or the more expansive River room. Our teachers gently guide play, ensuring every child feels supported while they explore their curiosity and reach their full potential.

Thoughtfully Designed Classrooms

We intentionally rotate our selection of materials to inspire fresh wonders, while evolving our floor plans to spark new avenues for play and growth.

Sensory-Rich Spaces

Our nurturing, mixed-age groups provide a sensory-rich environment for young explorers to thrive. Through intentional play and tactile discovery, children build early language and social confidence at their own pace within a warm, community-driven setting.

Play-Based, Child-Led Learning

In our preschool rooms, your child's natural curiosity leads the way. Children ages 2.5 to 6 grow through child-led exploration and collaborative projects that build deep community roots. By following their own interests, children develop the confidence and independence they need for a joyful transition to kindergarten.

Outdoor Spaces That Invite Discovery

We utilize an outside playground with traditional play equipment, a play kitchen, playhouse, sandboxes, and a covered area perfect for riding balance bikes and tricycles or staying dry on a rainy day. Children love rolling down the grass hill.

The Cave Classroom

Our Cave classroom is an outdoor space used for free play and teacher-led activities. It is protected from the weather, so children can enjoy it on rainy days too.

Our Passionate Educators

Our teachers bring genuine care, creativity, and experience to every day in the classroom.
